Mounting a red on a revolver significantly changes the ride height and weight distribution.
This creates a couple of downsides.
We’ve developed what we believe to be the best solution to overcome some of these downsides. That said, the Monocle will not conceal as well as the Icon 2.0 for most users.
We do suggest using a shorter grip on your Toro Revolver for maximum concealment.

I have been carrying an early prototype of this holster for several months now with complete satisfaction. I would not have believed that carrying an all steel 3″ barreled revolver with an RDS mounted could be done so comfortably and with such a high level of concealment. The 856 TORO in the Monocle has been my EDC through a very hot summer; a t-shirt underneath and a “camp shirt” covering. It hides exceptionally, protects the gun from sweat, and provides legitimate “wear all day” comfort. The Monocle holds the gun securely and provides for a clean presentation and return to the holster. There is enough adjustment to allow the edge of the optic to ride just inside the top edge of my trousers; thus allowing an additional contact point for stability. This is a great holster design that has been very well executed. Well Done!

Well executed design that presents the revolver grip in the same way a semi grip gets presented, reduces the wrist rotation required, and the revolver specific wing is great. Allows me to dial in ride height so the optic height is barely above belt line, and works great with non-optic 856 as well.

Carrying a steel,
near 30 ounce revolver IWB is no small feat…but the Monocle does it with ease and class. The finish on this clamshell holster is amazing and the sweat guard wraps around the barrel all the way down to the grip. The clip is very strong and snaps in tight to clothing or a gun belt. An audible click insures my 357 is safe. The angle of the Monocle is adjustable as is the retention level. The Holosun 407k that lives on top of my 605 seats well into the Monocle and isn’t impeded during draw. Loctite is thrown into the package as well with this premium holster. I will be buying from Harry’s Holster’s again!
