Attached below the trigger guard the dark wing works with our Singleton IWB (Inside The Waistband) holster to help conceal the grip of the gun when carrying AWIB(Appendix Inside The Waistband).

The wing is very effective at using the belt to hold the grip of your concealed carry handgun close to the body thus reducing printing.

Featuring an angled lever and aggressive teeth the Dark Wing stays in place.  It uses industry-standard hole spacing (15mm/0.60”) allowing it to work with most holsters designed to work with a wing/claw. It is injection molded from glass-filled nylon in the USA!

The wing really helps in concealing the butt end of the grip inward. I would say that having and EDC belt helps in that as well. You have to get this for sure.

I have put a wing on every one of my holsters and this is the best one I’ve seen. It’s not a stubby cheap piece of plastic. My favorite feature the stepped angular cut (Don’t know how else to explain it). Kind of like stair steps, I guess. The point of it, I’m guessing, is that when you tighten your belt up, it not only brings the grip in toward your gut, but acts like a wedge and slightly tilts the whole upper part of the handgun in as well. Genius.

Cc is a new endeavor for me. This wing certainly aids in concealment and easy access. Would not want to be without it.

It works well, only problem is that mine came missing a screw.

If we haven’t taken care of it already please send us an email and we’ll get you the missing screw.

The class works as it’s supposed to. It is the correct height unlike other holster makers.

Soild and accurate. Does exactly what it was designed to do.

  7. Nate (verified owner)

Works great, helps a whole bunch for AIWB concealment. I can conceal a compact double stack easily as a 150 lb guy.

  8. Billy Garrett (verified owner)

Quality product and a great addition to the holster!

Wasn’t sure about how this wing would work since it does not “jut out” quite as much as the modwing design I had used previously. I would say that if you do not like to use any foam wedge kits, other designs might be better.

HOWEVER, if you have found a set of wedges that work for you (Harry’s wedges all the way for me), that is where the darkwing comes into its own. The angle of the darkwing really matches the angle of the wedged holster, allowing for your belt to exert even pressure across to whole wing face rather than only on a single sharp point as it would do with another design. Now that I have discovered the Harry’s wedges, I now have only been using the darkwing design for my aiwb holsters.

I bought the Singleton holster as my first CC holster and decided to get the wing, even though I wasn’t sure what it was for. I’m so glad I got the wing! It tucks the grip right up against my body when I carry AIWB. If you are buying the holster for appendix carry, just get the wing too! It works!

Works very well to help pull the grip in for concealment. The darkwing looks like it’s 3D printed. It feels pretty strong and I doubt it’ll give the end user any problems.

      They’re injection molded.

I like the ledges on the wing so it can adapt to different carry positions and ride height still have contact with your belt.
