The turbo prop is designed to to work with adjustable retention OWB holsters. With it’s large controls it’s much easier to make fine adjustments than with a knurled screw. When you want a super slick fast draw on your competition holster but want to make sure the retention is very secure between stages the turbo prop is a great option.

The turbo prop is a nice feature. Gives you the ability to adjust the ability of release of the gun on the fly without having to take the holster off. Love it. Must have for me

Sounds like a good but usefulness will be holster/gun dependent. The Contender holster with my CZ Shadow 2 Optic Ready was too tight with turbo prop in loose setting. Had to add another rubber washer to open up the holster to make a fast draw for competition. With that washer I can’t really crank the prop down tight enough to really hold the gun. Quality is great but your experience will be determined by gun/holster fitment.
